This Privacy Policy describes how and when we collect, use, and share information when you visit our website, contact us, or otherwise use our services through www.dyeforyarn.com or its related sites and services.

Information we Collect

In order to fulfil your request to visit our website, our system automatically collects certain necessary information from the computer that’s accessing our website. Our system collects the following data:

  • the website’s address (URL), from which a file was requested
  • the file name
  • date and time of the request
  • the transferred amount of data
  • the access status (file sent, file not found, etc.)
  • description of the used web browser and system software
  • IP address during the active session
  • anonymized IP address of the accessing computer

Our system temporarily saves your IP address to enable your computer access to our website. During the time of your visit the IP address is stored to assure the correct operation of the website. We do not use your IP address for marketing purposes.

Above information is anonymized and saved in log files. Based on this anonymized information an identification of the user is not possible. This information is exclusively used for technical and statistical purposes. We do not share this personal information with any third party.

Deletion of the information

All information is deleted once the purpose of its collection no longer exists. In case of data collection to enable access to the website the information is deleted as soon as the active session is closed. All information saved in the log files is deleted after 7 days.

We don’t collect and use any personal data of a regular user. Cookies are further used to control the display of articles inside the preview window of our Etsy shops.
